Here's a Meatloaf even my picky kids will eat! Here's a Meatloaf even my picky kids will eat!
Number of Servings: 6


    1 1/4 lb pkg ground turkey
    1/4 C. onion, diced
    1/4 C. green pepper, diced
    1 egg, slightly beaten
    1/4 C. plain bread crumbs
    3/4 tsp. salt
    1/2 tsp. allspice
    1/4 tsp pepper


In a medium bowl, mix all ingredients together well. Shape into a loaf or pat into a loaf pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 45-60 minutes.

*Optional addition: "glaze" made from 6 tbsp ketchup and 3-4 tbsp pancake syrup mixed together well and poured over loaf before putting in the oven. (nutritional info is for loaf WITHOUT the glaze)

Makes 6 servings, 1 slice each

*I use Mrs. Dash instead of the salt in this recipe and you cannot tell the difference.

  • I like meatloaf and even tho I haven't made this, I will. I may leave out the green pepper. I like them raw, but they give me indigestion cooked. Sorry. - 3/10/08
