    28 Whole Natural Almonds
    2 Medium Apples
    1 Cup Old Fashioned Oats
    1 3/4 Cups Water
    3 TSP Ground Nutmeg
    3 TSP Ground Cinnamon


For those who require it sweeter, you can add brown sugar. However, that is not included in the nutritional facts here.


Remove apple stems and cores.
Chop apples and almonds in a food processor fairly fine. (I chop mine separately just because of the size of my processor, I don't think it would matter if you chopped them at the same time together.)
Put water and chopped almonds and apples in a pot on high. Bring to a rolling boil.
Once water is boiling, then add the oats. Allow to cook for five full minutes on medium heat, make sure to stir once or twice during cook time so nothing burns on bottom.
Turn heat off and cover for three minutes.
Serve with nutmeg and cinnamon sprinkled on top.
