Introduction

Meatloaf! Makes great meatballs too, but those I bake in the oven and freeze cooked. It's deliberately "neutral" to go with a variety of topping sauces, we love BBQ and Italian, but you have to add those to your tracker separately. Meatloaf! Ingredients

    2 eggs, lightly beaten
    1/2 cup 1% milk
    1/2 cup oats
    1 onion, chopped
    1 tsp salt
    1 teaspoons chili powder
    1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
    1/4 teaspoon pepper
    .75 lbs raw lean ground beef
    .75 lbs raw ground turkey

Tips

One recipe fits in a 2.5lb foil container with a lid for easy marking for the freezer. Cook over a foil snake in an oval 6qt crockpot on high for 4-6 hours. Doubles and triples very well.


Directions

Dump it all in a bowl, mush it all together until it's pretty well mixed.

Fill the pan (foil if you're freezing, and mark it well!) and press it firmly into all the corners and sides. Bake thawed or fresh for 90 mins at 350, the crockpot version is SO much more moist.

Drain the fat off before slicing and serving.

Serving Size: Makes 8 servings each about 1/4 lb cooked.
