    1.5 tbs. EVOO
    8 cloves Garlic peeled, minced
    1.5 cup raw onion chopped
    1.5 lb. ground turkey
    1- 12oz can tomato paste
    2- 28 oz can petite diced tomatoes
    2 cup/oz can tomato sauce
    water up to 8oz
    Black Pepper, 3 dashes
    6 tsp. Granulated Sugar
    4 tsp. Basil Dried, can add more
    4 tsp. dried parsley, can add more
    2 lg. Bay Leaves whole


Cut the calories in half and only have 1/2 cup to your pasta. Then add a salad or grilled veggies!


Heat oil in dutch oven. Add the garlic and stir well. Add the onions, and cook until just slightly browned.
Add the beef and stir and cook until brown all the way through.
Stir in the tpmato paste and cook for 2-3 minutes on med/high heat. Add the diced tomatoes, and stir well.
Add the tomato sauce and stir well.
Use the water to to rinse out each can, then add to the sauce, to thin it just a bit.
Lower heat, and start to simmer. Add the black pepper, stir well.
Add the sugar 1 spoonful at a time and stir and taste. Add until your desired amount and taste.
Add the basil and parsley and stir well.
Add the bay leaves and stir, cover and simmer on low, for as short as 45 mins - 1 hour.
You can really make the an all day gravy and cook slow for 2-4 hours. You can also add more meat to the pot, like browned sausage, chicken, or pork pieces. Serve over pasta of your choice, cooked al dante..! Enjoy..!!
