Introduction

Number of Servings: 6

Ingredients

    1 -28oz can crushed tomatoes
    2 -15.5 oz cans chick peas rinsed and drained
    2 cups frozen mixed vegetables
    1 cup (approx. 4oz.) Barilla Penne Pasta Plus uncooked (Whole grain)
    2 cups water
    1 tablespoon dried parsley
    1/2 teaspoon dried basil
    1/4 teaspoon dried oregano


Directions

Combine ingredients. Bring to boil. Simmer 20 to 30 minutes until pasta is done and food is heated through.

Use low salt ingredients when you can and rinse chick peas well to decrease sodium content.

Add more water if necessary.
