Yummy! This is a favorite around our house. We used to make a fattier version and with a few substitutions, we came up with a healthy and delicious meal! Yummy! This is a favorite around our house. Ingredients

    1 lb Ground Turkey
    1 pkg McCormick Origianl Taco Seasoning Mix
    3/4 c Water
    1 can Pinto Beans
    1 large head Iceberg Lettuce, chopped
    1 large Tomato, chopped
    Kraft Free Shredded Cheddar Cheese, 1/4 c each
    Salsa, 1/4 c each
    Fat Free Sour cream, 2 tbsp each

Directions

Brown turkey in a large skillet. Drain off any excess grease. Add taco seasoning, water, and pinto beans. Cover and let simmer 15 mins. Meanwhile, chop lettuce and tomato. Serve meat and bean mixture over lettuce and top with tomato, cheese, salsa, and sour cream.

Makes 6 servings.

    this is very good i cut the recipe in half and made it for myself with less beans and no sour cream i use 8 oz of meat and bag lettuce it was great i would rate it a 4.5 - 2/21/10

    Made a similar version, included low fat refried black beans. Left off the cheese and sour cream. Topped with fresh pico di gallo of tomato, white onion and fresh cilantro. Topped with sliced avocado. YUMM!! - 5/18/11
