    *90% Lean Ground Beef, 16 oz
    Green Peppers (bell peppers), 1 cup, chopped
    Tomato Paste, 1 can (6 oz)
    Cocoa, dry powder, unsweetened, .13 cup
    Onions, raw, .5 large
    Garlic, 2 clove
    Olive Oil, 1 tbsp
    *365 Organic Diced Tomatoes, 1.5 cup
    *Cumin seed, .66 tbsp
    Chili powder, 1 tsp
    Paprika, 1 tsp
    Salt, 1 tsp
    *Crushed Red Pepper Flakes, 1 tsp


Heat olive oil in a large pan over medium heat. Add garlic and onion and saute until tender. Add ground beef and cook until about medium (browns most of the meat).

Add meat/garlic/onion mixture to crock pot. Then add pepper, tomatoes, tomato paste, cocoa powder, chipotle peppers (optional), and spices. Stir well and cook on low for 6-8 hours.

Serving Size: Makes about 6 1-cup servings
