    1 1/2 pounds 93% lean ground beef
    1 pound 93% lean ground turkey
    1 large sweet onion cut in quarters
    1 large red ripe tomato cutin quarters
    1 inch fresh ginger root
    1/2 clove elephant garlic
    2 tablespoons lite rice vinegar
    2 tablespoons Hoison sauce
    1 heaping tsp dry mustard powder
    1 heaping tespoon curry powder
    2 egg whites


you can substitute another vegetable for the peas. I use a double loaf pan with the bottom perforated to save the liquid. You can put the liquid in a gravy seperator, remove the fat and simmer the remaining liquid with cornstarch to make gravy.


prheat oven to 375
grind all the ingredients except the ground beef,turkey and peas in a food processor then combine with the meats and peas mixing thoroughly. Place in a loaf pan and bake for 45 minutes or until bubbly

Serving Size: makes 10 large slices 230 calories each
