    10 jalapeno peppers, cut in half
    1/2 package of cream cheese
    4 oz of shredded pepperjack cheese (or any other cheese you prefer)


It's fun to change the recipe too--feel free to add tomatoes or ham/bacon or anything else to the cheese mixture. Or if you don't like things as spicy, use other peppers.

Oils from jalapenos can make the skin feel like it is burning--you may wish to wear gloves while handling raw peppers. I also leave the stems on to give something to grab/hold while eating since we normally make these with other finger food.


Cut jalapenos in half lengthwise to make little "boats." Scoop out seeds with a spoon--feel free to add seeds to cheese mix to make it more spicy! Mix cream cheese and pepperjack cheese together (it is easier if the cream cheese sits out for a little while to soften before trying to mix). Spoon mixture into jalapenos and grill or bake until cheese is bubbly and peppers soften (about 15-20 minutes).
