    1Tbsp olive oil
    4 cloves garlic, chopped
    1 medium onion, chopped
    2 large celery stalks, sliced
    1 large bell pepper, chopped

    1 540 ml can red kidney beans, drained and rinsed
    1 796 ml can diced tomatoes
    1 220 g can jalepenos (optional)
    2 Tbsp chili powder


Good served with a Tbsp grated parmesan cheese


Heat oil in heavy pot.
Add garlic, onions, celery and bell pepper.
Saute about 10 minutes.
Add remaining ingredients.
Bring to a boil.
Turn down heat and simmer for 1 to 1 1/2 hours.
