This is a nice turkey loaf that is healthy and delicious. This is a nice turkey loaf that is healthy and delicious.
Number of Servings: 4


    1 1/4 ground turkey
    16 Reduced Fat/calorie wheat thins (1 serving)
    5 Saltines
    1 large egg
    About a tablespoon of fennel
    salt and pepper


Heat oven to 350 degrees. Crush wheat thins and saltines (I usually put them in a zip top bag and rolling pin them). Combine turkey, crushed crackers, egg, and fennel seed in a bowl - mix by hand until combined. Put in an oven safe dish, shape into a loaf. I put a bit of salt and pepper on the top, it isn't necessary. Cook for about 20 to 30 minutes until loaf is firm and not pink anymore.
