Number of Servings: 5

Ingredients

    1/2 cup quinoa
    1/2 cup steel cut oats
    1/4 cup ground flax seed
    2 Tbsp cinnamon
    1/2 cup raisins
    2 1/2 cups water

Directions

Mix all ingredients in oven-safe bowl. Place on silicone mat (or on top of crunched up tin foil) in bottom of crock pot. Make sure bowl is not resting directly on bottom or touching sides. Fill rest of crock pot with water so the water comes at least half-way up the bowl. Cook on low overnight - usually 8-10 hours. Add 1 Tbsp brown sugar to each serving (included in recipe's calorie count).

    Cooked on stove instead of using crock pot and used agave nectar instead of brown sugar... A delicious way to work quinoa into my diet! - 12/30/12
