    6 Medium Apples
    1/2 Cup Brown Sugar
    1 Tbsp Cinnamon
    1 Tsp Nutmeg
    1 Tsp Allspice
    2 Tbsp Butter
    Pie Crust for bottom and lattice top
    1 Tbsp Sugar


Wrap the edges of the crust in foil so they don't burn. Remove the foil for the last 10 minutes of cooking.


Core and cut apples into pieces. Using a food processor, chop apples to desired consistency. (I made some very fine to act as a sauce and left others large for texture). Add sugar and spices to apples and combine thoroughly. Spoon into bottom crust and smooth out. Place small clumps of butter just under the surface with a knife. Place strips of crust across the top for lattice (or braided) effect. Spray with pam and sprinkle with white sugar.
Bake at 350 for 40-45 minutes.
