This is a family favorite. This is the only way we fix pot roast in our house. This is a family favorite. This is the only way we fix pot roast in our house.
Number of Servings: 10


    2-1/2 to 3 lb venison roast
    5 idaho potatoes, chopped
    1 small bag of baby carrots
    1 small container of fresh mushrooms
    1 packet of dry onion soup mix
    1 small can of condensed cream of celery soup
    2T worcestire sauce
    3/4C water


Place roast in skillet to brown on all sides.
While the roast is browning, place carrots, potatoes and mushrooms in slow cooker.
Make a 'bed' for your roast in vegetables.
In a small bowl, mix together the soup mix, condensed soup, worcestire sauce and water.
Place browned roast on top of the vegetables in the slow cooker.
Poor the soup mixture evenly over the meat and vegetables.
Cook on High for 5 - 6 hours.

Serving Size: Makes roughly 8 - 10 1-cup servings
