    -1 large onion
    -2.8 lbs. of lean ground turkey (or 2 to 3 lbs. depending on how meaty you want the chili to be, this batch had a lot)
    -40 oz. can of dark red kidney beans drained
    -28 oz. can of crushed tomatoes
    -14.5 oz. can of diced tomatoes
    -1 seasoning package of French's Chili-O chili seasoning
    -paprika, cayenne or chili powder and garlic powder to taste


You can use any chili seasoning you would like, or just use spices as little or as much as you would like to season this chili. This is just a very basic, simple chili I made tonight that I needed to record to track my dinner.


-chop large onion and saute in a frying pan, set aside in a large pot when done cooking
-brown up ground turkey in a frying pan, drain any water or grease and then stir in chili seasoning mix and half of the can of crushed tomatoes until everything is mixed well
-put beans, the rest of the crushed tomatoes, meat mix, and diced tomatoes all in the large pot with the onions and bring to a boil
-add your favorite spices to taste

Serving Size: 8 servings that measure out to be about 1.5 cups each
