    2 1/4 c. whole wheat flour (from white wheat)
    3/4 cup wheat germ
    1/4 c. ground flaxseed (optional)
    1 1/2 tsp. baking powder
    1 1/2 tsp. baking soda
    3/4 tsp. salt

    3 c. milk
    3 egg or egg equivalents
    1/4 c. oil
    1/4 c. honey
    2 T. applesauce


You can use egg replacer and soy/almond milk to make this vegan.


Combine dry ingredients in a large bowl. Combine wet ingredients in another bowl. Add wet to dry and stirl until you have a smooth batter. Cook on a non-stick griddle at 325 degrees.
