Introduction

This is a half batch recipe of Elana's Pantry's recipe for Gluten Free Brownies. I did not use the suggested chocolate chips, so I did not calculate those in the recipe's nutrition facts. Ingredients

    1 Cup creamy roasted almond butter
    1 eggs
    1/2+1/8 cups agave nectar
    1/2 tablespoon vanilla extract
    1/4 cup cacao powder
    1/4 teaspoon celtic sea salt
    1/2 teaspoon baking soda
    1/2 cup dark chocolate chips

Directions

In a large bowl, blend almond butter until smooth with a hand blender
Blend in eggs, then blend in agave and vanilla
Blend in cacao, salt and baking soda, then fold in chocolate chips
Grease a 8x8 inch Pyrex baking dish
Pour batter into dish
Bake at 325° for 20-30 minutes

Serving Size: Makes 9 Brownies

    Incredible!
    I have made these 3 or 4 times and they are an instant hit wherever I take them. My kids love them and while they are not low calorie I feel better knowing that my kids are not eating empty calories for dessert. - 6/25/13
