    6 turkey legs (23 oz of meat); 3T Lipton onion soup mix; .75 c lentils; 2.5c Knorr beef broth; 2 c onions, 5 small cloves garlic, 2 c celery. Plus herbs and spices.


Saute turkey in electric fryer, with Pam spray. When browned, add 3 c water & 3 Tbsp Lipton onion soup mix. Remove turkey to cool. Pour liquid into soup pot. Add lentils, bring to boil then simmer.

Saute onions in electric fryer, with a little olive oil. When soft, add crushed garlic. Then add onion-garlic mix to soup pot, and the Knorr broth. Separate meat from bone and gristle, add to soup pot.

Chop and add 2 c celery, and a can of kidney beans (rinsed) to soup pot. Season to taste. Simmer a little longer to set the flavours.

Serving Size: makes 22 servings of .5 cup
