Ingredients

    1 lb. Italian sausage meat
    1 cup salsa
    1/2 cup chopped onion
    1/2 light Miracle Whip
    2 T. chili powder
    1 tsp. cumin
    2 cups crushed tortilla chips, divided
    8 ounces shredded Cheddar cheese, divided

Directions

Brown meat & onion, when browned, add salsa, onion, miracle whip and spices.

Remove from heat.

Place 1/2 of the meat mixture into bottom of a casserole dish, cover with 1/2 of the taco chips, then 1/2 of the cheese.

Repeat a second layer.

Cover dish with aluminum foil.

Bake @ 350 degrees F. (175 degrees C.) for about 30 minutes.

Serving Size: cut into 6 even squares
