Number of Servings: 8

Ingredients

This makes several servings. I have never meaured the finished cooked oats and it depends on how much you want to eat! My husband can eat a huge bowl of this, but I try to stick to one cup. It will last most of the week.

I usually bring a container to work and will have for 3 or 4 mornings.

Tips

The cooked oats are a "blank palate", you can add whatever ingredients you like best for a hearty and filling breakfast, be sure to add to tracker whatever other ingredients you decide to add.

Directions

Use a bowl that is deep enough to hold 4 cups water plus the cup of oats AND will fit in crockpot with lid on.

Mix one cup of oats with 4 cups of water in the bowl and sit bowl inside crockpot. you can even spray inside of bowl lightly with vegetable oil spray to prevent sticking. Fill crockpot with water to the level of the water that is in bowl inside, put on lid and cook overnight on low for 7 or 8 hours.

This comes out perfect, nothing sticking to crockpot and oats are perfect consistency.
