•3/4 cup steel cut oats
•1/8 teaspoon salt
•1 large tart cooking apple (8 ounces), cored and chopped
•1/4 cup chopped dates or dried figs
•3 tablespoons honey
•1 teaspoon pumpkin pie spice
•1/2 teaspoon ground gingeradd to shopping list
