    Maccaroni, cheese, butter, seasonings, bread crumbs

Tips

You can split to smaller portions, just be sure to adjust cooking times.


Directions

Cook noodles according to instructions until al dente. Drain. Melt a small amount of butter and mix with noodles to prevent from sticking - set aside.

Melt butter, add flour and stir over medium heat for about 30 seconds, being careful not to brown it. Add milk and whisk until mixture thickens. Add nutmeg, salt and pepper. Reduce heat and simmer. Add cheese, stirring until melted.

Toss mixture with noodles and place in a 3 point casserole dish. Top with breadcrumbs. Allow to cool, cover and freeze.

On cooking day: Thaw to room temperature for 2 hour or all day in fridge. Bake at 350F for 45 minutes.
