    1/2 c honey
    1/2 c sugar
    1 3/4 c oats
    1 1/2 c flour
    1 tsp salt
    1/4 tsp nutmeg
    3/4 tsp cinnamon
    3/4 tsp baking soda
    1/2 c slivered almonds
    3/4 c oil and/or applesauce (I used equal parts)
    1 egg
    1/2 tsp vanilla
    1/2 tsp almond extract
    2 mashed large bananas


I haven't tried it, but I imagine you could replace the white flour with wheat to make them even more healthy! I also added the almond extract to bring more of the almond flavor out, but you can leave it out if you choose. You can also use different kinds of nuts!


Mix dry ingredients in one bowl and mix wet ingredients in another. Stir together and bake 325 for 20-25 min
