    Onions, raw, 1 medium (2-1/2" dia)
    Green Peppers (bell peppers), 1 cup, chopped
    Garlic, 2 clove
    Cabbage, fresh, 1 cup, chopped
    Canned Tomatoes, 4 cup
    dried Beans, black, 1 cup (any dried bean works for protein)
    Oregano, ground, 2 tsp
    Basil, 1 tbsp


soak dried beans overnight they will triple in size. saute the onions, peppers, garlic and cabbage
added everything else and simmer to desired doneness and thickness. You can add water if you would likeit more like a soup. If you put it all in the slow cooker you do not need to sautee, but you should still soak the beans
