    2.25 cups split peas
    4 oz ham steak
    1 cup chopped carrots
    1 cup chopped celery
    .5 cup chopped onion
    8 cups water
    salt, pepper, summer savory to taste

Directions

Put all ingredients in slow cooker and cook on high about 6 hours
