    8 cups water
    2 cups dry steel cut oats
    2 tsps vanilla extract
    1/2 cup pure maple syrup
    1 tsp cinnamon
    1/2 tsp nutmeg
    2/3 cup dried cranberries, chopped
    2 medium apples, peeled and chopped
    1/2 cup chopped pecans


Reheats very well - I like to make a big batch on the weekends to enjoy throughout the week!


Combine all ingredients except pecans in slow cooker and stir well. Cook on low 4 hours without stirring. Serve each bowl sprinkled with 1 TBSP chopped pecans.

Serving Size: Makes 8 servings
