    2 cups all purpose flour
    1 tbsp baking powder
    8 tbsp unsalted butter, softened
    1/2 cup granulated sugar
    1 large egg
    1/2 tsp. iodized salt
1/2 tsp grated nutmeg (I used jar-ground nutmeg)
    1 tsp pure vanilla extract
    2 ripe bananas (medium)
    2/3 cup golden raisins
    1/4 cup coarsely chopped pecans

Cream the butter and sugar together in a mixing bowl until light and fluffy. Add egg and beat mixture thoroughly. Sift together flour, baking powder, salt and nutmeg. Mash bananas, add vanilla. Add sifted ingredients and banana alternately to the egg, butter and sugar mixture beating after each addition until thoroughly blended. Add raisins with pecans to batter, mixing well. Pour batter into buttered loaf pan. Bake in preheated (350 degree) oven for 1 hour until a skewer inserted into loaf comes out clean.
