Number of Servings: 12


    1/2 cup butter, softened
    1 cup white sugar
    2 eggs
    2 cups flour
    1/2 baking powder
    1/2 teaspoon salt
    1/4 teaspoon organic cinnamon
    1/4 cup Stonyfield mango honey low fat yogurt
    1 teaspoon vanilla extract
    1 cup coarsely chopped pears, skins on, seeds out


Pears can be chopped in food processor. Keep skins on. Remove stems and seeds. Don't over process.


Cream butter and sugar together, add eggs, baking powder, salt, cinnamon, and vanilla. Add chopped pears. Stir in half of flour, then yogurt, then rest of flour. Bake at 350 for 40 to 60 minutes or until golden. Makes 12 large slices or 24 small slices.

Serving Size: Makes 12 servings (2 small loaves or 1 large loaf)
