    1 Can Martindale Southern Yam Sweet Potatoes or any other canned sweet potatoes, or 2 large fresh sweet potatoes
    1 medium granny smithr apple
    3 Tbs. Smart Balance Light Buttery Spread -- I had to use 3 Tbs. since it was drying out, probably can just use 2 Tbs.


I am calculating 3 Tbs. of Smart Balance here due to over cooking while waiting for other food to finish. 2 Tbs. is probably more than enough. Nutritional info is for 3 Tbs. You can also add borwn sugar and cinnamon if desired, but dish is sweet enough on its own.


Drain sweet potatoes and slice into halves or discs. Slice apple thinly. Place both in a skillet with 2 Tbs. buttery spread and heat until apples are soft. Serve hot. Add more buttery spread if needed.
