Do you think this recipe would also work with the cauliflower in cheese sauce that Green Giant also sells? I just prefer cauliflower, and think it would be more potato-y like! - 2/4/13

these mini philo shells are no longer sold in any of my local stores. I've even checked online with no success. I would omit the cheese.
another good mix is mushrooms, bacon, and black olives. - 2/21/13

I like the idea of this recipe , however , I do not use frozen veggies - ever - so I would have to make over , simplier for me to make a cassarole with bread crumbs. - 2/21/13

  • I made this tonight and my family LOVED it! I couldn't find the filo shells at my grocery store so I used tostitos baked scoops tortilla chips even though it added a little more calories/sodium. Turned out GREAT! Definitely making again - 7/20/15

Would won-ton wrappers would instead of the fillo shells? They are more easily available at my stores.

You can prep this appetizer item for a future event. Just prep the cups and freeze. Take as many out as you need. They even work well for a grab and go breakfast. - 4/5/13

I would prefer a recipe that I could make myself. This does look tasty, it's the sauce that gives me pause. - 2/21/13
