Ingredients

    1 Cup brown rice
    1 Cup red lentils
    6 Cloves Garlic
    4 Small Yams, sliced
    1/2 cup shredded carrots
    1 Can Kidney Beans
    1 tsp dried cilantro
    1/2 tsp Turmeric
    1 block of firm tofu, cubed
    1/2 tsp dried chili powder
    1 tsp Fennel seeds
    1/4 tsp cinnamon
    1/2 tsp cloves
    Sea salt
    Water

    3 hardboiled eggs, cut into quarters

Directions

In an electric rice steamer or large pot, add all ingredients except the hardboiled eggs, beans, and tofu. Add enough water to cover a few inches over all the ingredients and let cook for 35 minutes or so, then add the remaining ingredients and cook another 10 minutes before serving.
