Number of Servings: 4


    Fennel, 1 bulb, cut into wedges
    2 large Carrots, cut in thirds and then quartered lengthwise
    2 cloves Garlic, minced
    1 cup Swanson Chicken Broth 99% Fat Free
    Olive Oil, 1 tsp


Heat olive oil in a medium size skillet and lightly brown the garlic. Add the fennel and carrots, stirring quickly to coat, then add broth. Bring to a boil then cover with a tight fitting lid and reduce heat. Cook for 10 to 15 minutes or until carrots are barely tender. Serve warm.

  • This was a great side dish for my broiled pork chops today. I added freshly ground black pepper and just a little bit of tomato juice to the chicken broth. Delicous!! :) - 7/17/14
