Ingredients

    2 lbs regular or coarse ground beef
    3 Chugwater Chili Mix (from Chugwater, Wyoming - chugwaterchili.com)
    15 oz can tomato sauce
    15 oz can water
    two 15 oz cans plain pinto beans

Tips

My husband prefers to use kidney beans in place of pinto beans.


Directions

Brown beef; drain off excess fat. Stir in chili mix (more for hotter chili). Add tomato sauce and water. Bring to a boil. Reduce heat, cover and simmer 30 minutes, stirring occasionally. Add beans and return to simmer. Serve hot.
