Introduction

A good crust that has never failed me!!! A good crust that has never failed me!!!
Number of Servings: 8

Ingredients

    1 1/2 Cups flour
    1/2 tsp salt
    1/2 Cup shortening (8 Tbsps or half a crisco stick)
    5 Tbsp water

Directions

In a medium sized bowl mix flour, salt and shortening using a fork or pastry cutter till crumbly.
Stir in water a little at a time.
Divide dough into 2 parts and roll out to the size of pie pan you are using.
Generally takes 10-15 minutes at 425 degrees


Serving Size: makes 2 pie crusts
