Ingredients



    Cinnamon, ground, 1 tsp
    Ginger, ground, 0.25 tsp
    *Flour, white, 2 cup
    Granulated Sugar, 1 cup
    *Molasses - cup, 0.25 cup
    Egg, fresh, 1 large
    Shortening, 0.75 cup
    Baking Soda, 2 tsp
    *Kosher Salt, 0.25 tsp

    Roller in sugar that you put on the side in a small bowl.


Tips

to keep soft store in air tight container.


Directions

Mix Shortening & Sugar in bowl. (Cream)
Add Molasses (blend)
Add 1 egg (mix all together)

In different bowl add all other dry ingredients (mix together)

Add to wet ingredients -mix until blended.

Scoop out with a cookie scooper (I use pamper chef medium scoop)

325 degree F for 10-12 min. (until cookies crack)

Roller in sugar in small bowl before adding to tray to cook.

Put on a flour sprayed stray (or non-stick tray)

Keep 1 1/2 apart (usually can get 3 across & 5 down on a cookie sheet)
