    1 (24 oz) pkg. thawed hash brown potatoes (chunks)
    1 medium onion, chopped
    1 pint sour cream
    2 cans potato soup
    1 cup grated cheddar cheese
    2 tbsp butter or maragine
    season to taste


Mix undiluted soup and sour cream into hash browns. Saute onion in butter and add to potato mixture. Add seasoning. Pour into casserole dish sprayed with Pam and top with cheese. Bake at 350 for 30 minutes or until bubblly.
