Ingredients



    *Canola Oil, 1 tbsp (remove)
    *Flour, white, 2 Tbsp
    Chili powder, 2 tbsp (remove)
    Water, 2 cups
    Tomato Paste, 1 can (6 oz) (remove)
    *Cumin seed, .5 tsp (remove)
    Garlic powder, .5 tsp (remove)
    ground red pepper, .25 tsp (remove)
    Salt, .5 tsp (remove)

Tips

This had a nice kick. You could make it more or less hot by adjusting the cayenne.


Directions

Heat oil in saucepan, sprinkle flour over, add enough of the water to whisk, add chili powder and tomato paste and whisk, add rest of water and other spices.

Serving Size: About 2 cups - a 9x13 pan uses about 3/4 of this recipe
