    *Bok Choy, raw-shreaded, 1.5 cup
    *Yams, 1 cup, cubes
    Turnips, 1 cup, cubes
    Broccoli, fresh, 1.5 cup, chopped
    Onions, raw, 1 cup, chopped
    Perdue Boneless, Skinless Chicken Breast, All Natural, 1 filet, 4.8 oz., 1.75 serving
    Pacific Natural Foods Organic Low Sodium Chicken Broth, 1 cup, 2.5 serving
    Garlic, 2.5 tsp
    Sesame Oil, 1 1tsp
    Olive Oil, 2 1tsp
    Pepper, red or cayenne, 1 tsp
    *maifun rice sticks, 7 oz

    You can add additional seasoning to it for personal tastes.


We like to put the soup in the bowl first and add the cooked rice sticks on top, it makes for a better presentation. :)


Chop the veggies. In a stew pot add the olive oil and sesame oil add veggies and coat with the hot oils. Add the broth to the veggies and let simmer. Chop the chicken into small cubes, then brown the chicken in separate pan. Add the chicken to the veggies and broth and let simmer for about an hour, until yams and turnips are soft. Bring water to boil in a separate pot, remove from heat and add rice sticks. Soak for 10 mins. Then it is sime to serve.
