Ingredients

    -canola oil for cooking

    - 1 long gobo(burdock root)

    - 2-3 carrots

    - 1-2 tbsp brown sugar

    -1-2 tbsp soy sauce

    - 1-2 tsp toubanjan

    - sesame seeds( opt)

Directions

1. cook thinly sliced veggies in canola oil till soft enough( also cook toubanjan if spicyness is wanted)
2. add sugar and soy sauce and cook a little longer till sauce is evenly spread
3. add sesame seeds if desired

Serving Size: about 6 side dishes
