Ingredients

    1 pkg. whole wheat linguine
    12 slices turkey bacon , diced (Jenny-O if available)
    1 small onion, finely chopped
    1-1/3 cups low sodium/low fat chicken broth
    3 Tbsp chopped fresh sage leaves
    1/2 lb. baby spinach leaves
    Shredded Parmesan cheese
    Salt and Pepper to taste, if desired

Directions

Cook pasta according to pkg directions. In large skillet over medium heat, cook bacon 4-5 minutes or until desired crispness. Add onion and saute until onion is tender. Stir in chicken broth and sage; simmer 1-2 minutes. Add spinach and cook just until it wilts. Toss linguine with sage and serve sprinkled with Parmesan cheese. Great as a main dish or a side dish served with chicken breast.
