    1 - 10 oz. bag frozen broccoli
    1 onion, chopped
    2 cloves garlic, minced
    3 T. butter
    3 T. flour
    1 can nacho cheese soup (campbell's)
    1 can Swanson's chicken broth
    2 c. Cheese blend (like velveeta) cubed
    1 c. half and half
    2 c. skim milk
    salt and pepper to taste


saute onion and garlic in butter. Add chicken broth and broccoli. Cook til broccoli is almost done. Add milk, nacho cheese soup and skim milk. Blend 3T flour with half and half. Add to soup and stir until cheese is melted and soup is thickened. Use a hand blender or blend in a regular blender in batches til smooth.
