My grandmother made these and they are the best! My grandmother made these and they are the best!

    1.5 Cups Buttermilk
    1 Cup Flour
    1 Egg lightly beaten
    1 tspn Baking Soda
    1 tspn Salt
    1 TB melted Butter


I cut the salt back to 1/2 tspn.


Sift flour, salt and baking soda into large mixing bowl. Add buttermilk and stir. Add egg and butter (make sure butter isn't hot or it will curdle the milk). Cook on hot griddle until cooked.

Serving Size: 5 inch pancake
