Introduction

Ingredients

    Flour, white, 2 cup, plus 2 tablespoons
    Baking Soda, 1 tsp
    Salt, 1/2 tsp
    Butter, unsalted, 4 tbsp
    Applesauce, sweetened, 1/2 cup, Plus 2 tablespoons
    Granulated Sugar, 1/4 cup
    Brown Sugar, 1 cup, packed
    Vanilla Extract, 2 tsp
    Semisweet chocolate, 1 cup chips (6 oz package)

Tips

Healthier chocolate chip cookies. My kids love the flavor and the softness the applesauce adds.


Directions

Mix wet ingredients then add dry. Stir in the chocolate chips last.

Bake in oven.
325 degrees for 15-18 minutes, rotate pans 1/2 way through cooking.

Serving Size: 20 large cookies, use a 1/4 cup or small ice cream scoop
