In non-stick pan, add turkey and fennel seed. On medium heat cook ground turkey until brown. Drain fat and set turkey aside in a bowl. Spay non-stick on same pan, then on medium low heat add 3 heaping Tbsp of turkey and 1 Tbsp onion into a small heap. Break egg over heap. Using a spatula, the intent s to break the yolk and coat the ingredients in the egg and form a patty. Once the ingredients are coated and patty shape formed, brown on one side, then flip to brown the other.
Tips
Replace egg with egg beaters or egg whites. Serve alone or on a bun. Vary seasonings to taste. The fennel seed gives it a sausage flavor without the sodium of store brand.
