Introduction

Ingredients

    1 12oz can evaporated milk
    1/4 cup flour
    1/4 cup butter
    1 Beef Bullion Cube dissolved in 1 cup hot water (or 1 cup beef broth)
    2 oz shredded Parmesan cheese
    1 tsp cajun seasoning
    1/8 tsp garlic powder
    1/8 tsp onion powder
    1/8 tsp black pepper

Tips

If sauce is too thick, add a little water at a time until desired consistency is reached.


Directions

Melt butter on high in medium saucepan.
Whisk in flour and cook until bubbly and just starts to brown.
Slowly stir in evaporated milk. Stir continuously until thickened. Reduce heat to low and stir in parmesan cheese a little at a time until melted and blended well.
Slowly stir in beef broth, mix well.
Add remaining ingredients (spices) and stir well.
Serve immediately over pasta, vegetables, or use as a base for casseroles.
