Soup with mostly vegetables, a bit of meat (ham in this case), and a few spices. Soup with mostly vegetables, a bit of meat (ham in this case), and a few spices.

    1 Ham, regular (11% fat), 1.5 cup, diced
    1 Yellow Sweet Corn, Canned,
    1c. Mushrooms, fresh
    1c. Onions, raw, chopped
    1c. Green Peppers (bell peppers)
    1c Water, bottled
    1 can Beans, black,
    1 can Swanson Natural Goodness Chicken Broth
    1 can ro tel, original

    A pinch of spices is also included: red pepper, black pepper, garlic powder, ground thyme


Cook meat.
Bring all ingredients to a boil.
Simmer on low for 5 minutes.
Serve hot.

  • Dan forgot the rest of the ingredients: 1 can corn,1 can Blk beans,1/2 white onion chopped,1 package of frsh muchrooms chopped,1/2 bell pepper chopped,1 can stwed tomatoes/rotel optional,1 swansons chkn broth,1cup water.It is great cause the veggies are crispy. Even better the next day! We love it!! - 2/13/08
