Number of Servings: 4

Ingredients

    5 large potatoes chopped or cubed
    1 qt Pacific Foods Organic Free Range Low Sodium Chicken Broth
    1/4 cup chopped onion
    2 tbsp flour
    1 cup 2% Milk
    1 teaspoon each Majoram, Dill Weed, Ground Cumin, Salt
    1/2 teaspoon Thyme
    1/8 teaspoon White Pepper
    1/2 cup Fat Free Sour Cream

Tips

Adding bacon to this makes it even better.


Directions

Combine all ingredients except flour, cheese, and sour cream in a large saucepan. Bring to boil then reduce heat to simmer for 30 minutes. Gradually add flour to milk stirring until smooth. Stir into soup. Bring soup back to a boil and cook for 1 minute stirring constantly. Remove from heat and add sour cream and cheese. Stir until completely blended. Garnish if desired with chives.

Serving Size: Make 6 large servings that are about 2 cups each
