    3 Stalks of fresh broccoli, only the stalk not the heads
    1 tsp dried parsley
    1 tbsp salt
    1 tsp black pepper
    1 tsp garlic powder

    Also need canola oil spray or similar.
    (the amounts on the spices are to taste and estimated)


Cut the stalks longways, two times, or until the pieces look to be a manageable size (less than 1 in across in any direction is good). Spray baking sheet with cooking spray, place pieces on sheet and spray again with cooking spray. Then add seasonings evenly over stalks. Cook ten minutes, then flip, another ten, and check tenderness. Pieces should be tender on the insides and a little tougher on the outsides. If not done put in another five minutes, or until insides are tender.
