You can buy nearly this same combo in frozen form at Costco - I believe you get papaya instead of cantaloupe, it is delicious and so convenient. I make smoothies often using a handful of this frozen fruit combo. - 1/30/09

This is wonderful! If you cut up a ripe banana and freeze it (first take off the peel), and add it to this smoothie, you will have more thickness and more texture. - 2/1/09

I already make this recipe. Don't like Cantalope, but loves all the other fruits. I found frozen mix of fruits called Fiesta Blend from Aldi's. It has in Papaya, Pineapple, Strawberry, Mango. It's a quick and easy morning breakfast. The Pineapple juice makes it taste just great!!!! - 5/8/08

Remember to add protein to every meal including your shakes. Any smootie with only fruit and juice will spike your sugar level and result in a big dip in energy after the initial sugar high. This adds fruit to your day but much better made with a protein powder that includes vitamins/minerals :) - 3/10/10

I love these smoothies! This is a nice change from my usual, which I make with yogurt & milk. I'd like to offer a hint: the more frozen the fruit is that you use, the thicker the smoothie. The way I do it, I use a spoon to eat'm! This is better than juice, because it includes the fruit's fiber. - 2/26/10

I DID SOME YARD WORK TODAY. IT WAS SO NICE OUT IT FELT GOOD TO WORK OUTSIDE. WHEN I CAME IN I WAS BOTH HUNGRY AND THIRSTY, SO I MADE THE SMOOTHIE.
I HAD EVERY THING EXCEPT THE PINEAPPLE JUICE, SO I USED CANNED PINEAPPLE AND ADDED I CUP OF WATER.
IT WAS GREAT. REFRESHING AND FILLING.

I use a Cuisinart food processor, rather than a blender, and find that it's best to process the frozen fruit by itself, before adding the liquid. Less likely that liquid will spray out of the lid. LOVE mango, especially if it's the Kent variety. Ask your grocer to label the variety as with apples - 1/30/09

Make fruit shakes every morning, either this or a combination of other fruits. I don't know why it loses the fiber content, but smoothies are usually not as high in fiber count as just the fruit itself. - 1/30/08
