    Collards, 8 cup, chopped
    Garlic, 3 cloves
    Onions, raw, 1 large
    Bacon, 6 medium slices, cooked
    Chicken Broth, 3 cup (8 fl oz)
    red pepper flakes 1/2 tsp
    salt and pepper to taste


Be sure to add or subtract red pepper flakes by personal preference.


Cut bacon into 1/2 inch pieces and cook in pan. Add chopped onions and garlic. Cook until onions are translucent and bacon is cooked to desired consistency. Add 8 cups of chopped collards and 3 cups of chicken broth along with red pepper flakes and salt and pepper. Cover and let cook for approximately 1 hour or until the collards are at desired consistency.
